TRANSCAN Partners
The ERA-Net TRANSCAN was made up of 25 partners from 19 European and Associated countries. TRANSCAN reached good geographic coverage throughout the European Union, and also included three Associated countries (Israel, Norway and Turkey).
Most of the participating organisations represent dedicated funding bodies (ministries, research councils, etc). Other organisations are mandated by a national research council or a health ministry to represent their country in TRANSCAN, but in addition play an active role in cancer research.
All TRANSCAN partners have participated in the elaboration of the work programme and taken responsibilities well-suited to their expertise.
